Belinda Compton Woodward

Mrs. Belinda Compton Woodward, age 56, of Cedartown, GA passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020.

Belinda was born in Polk County, GA on August 20, 1964, a daughter of Linda Bailey Compton. She had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a graduate of Rockmart High School. She had a great love for God, her family and her dog, Mollie. Mrs. Woodward was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church . One of her favorite past times was collecting Crosses and Christian memorabilia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Hartness.

Survivors include her son, Luke Woodward and his wife, Ashley, Rockmart; grandson, Bentley Woodward; mother, Linda Wolfe and her husband Kim, Cedartown; two sisters: Angie Smith, Chattanooga, and Naomi Stephens, Aragon; brother, Marty Compton, Rockmart; companion, James Bennett, Rockmart; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home with a prayer given by Minister Justin Mason. Mrs. Woodward will be cremated following the visitation.
