Bertha Mae Kirk

Mrs. Bertha Mae Kirk, age 90, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019.

She was born in Piedmont, Alabama on April 23, 1928 a daughter of Robert E. Lee Dye and Della Vinson Dye. Mrs. Kirk had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. She was a retired forty four year employee of the Goodyear Mill and Engineered Fabrics of Rockmart.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands: J.B. Kirk, James Simpson and J.R. Cole; daughter, Cherry Fowler Davidson; granddaughter, Stacey Manning; brother and sister in law, George and Pearl Dye and sisters: Beatrice Harrell and Dorothy Robinson.

Survivors include a daughter, Allyson Kirk; son, Timothy Kirk,; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; step son, Jamie Simpson and step daughters: Connie Quillin, Debra Teal and Mary Tibbitts.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Calvin Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm.
