Beverly Gaye Abney

Mrs. Beverly Gaye Abney, age 74, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

She was born on November 2, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK to her late parents: Claude Siegfried and Juanita Burkett Siegfried. Mrs. Abney was a Georgia resident since 1997 after moving here from Oklahoma. Beverly worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Abney was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Claudine Denny.

Mrs. Abney is survived by her daughter, Gayna England of Cedartown, GA, son, Tracy Abney of Douglasville, GA, sister, Glenda Lakin of Oklahoma City, OK, and grandchildren: Megan Dickerson, Haley Dickerson, Hunter England and Hannah Abney.

In keeping with the families wishes, Mrs. Abney was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Dabbs officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
