Beverly Sue Sanders

Mrs. Beverly Sue Sanders, age 69, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Thursday evening, January 1, 2026.

Beverly was born on August 9, 1956, in Rockmart, daughter of Louise Wigley Sanders and the late Harold C. Sanders. She spent most of her life in the town she called home, where her faith and love for others guided her every day. A devoted seamstress with Engineered Fabrics, Beverly poured patience and care into her work, a reflection of the way she lived her life. She found peace and happiness in sewing and cross stitching. Beverly’s warm smile, joyful laughter, and lighthearted spirit filled every room she entered. Her jolly nature and kind heart will be lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

In addition to her father, Beverly was preceded in death by a sister, Carla Lanier, and two nieces, Ashley Sanders and Katie Lanier.

Beverly is survived by four children, Tammy Brand, Paula (Darryl) Chastain, Jason (Kayla) Brand, and Kaylee Prater; seven grandchildren, Dillon Prater, Hunter Channell, Dakota Matthews, Hailee Gober, Jaycee Brand, and Jaxson Brand; one great-grandchild, Dillon Ingebrigtsen; mother, Louise Sanders; brother, Timmy (Gloria) Sanders. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Beverly will be held on Monday afternoon, January 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Thomason officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Beverly’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Monday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
