Mr. Bob Williams, age 72, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, September 8, 2026, at his residence.

Bob was born in Rome, GA, on August 25, 1954, son of the late Robert Lee Williams, Sr., and Wilma McClure Williams. A lifelong resident of Rockmart, he was a proud graduate of Rockmart High School and spent more than 44 years building a career with Meggett, where he retired as a supervisor.

Bob was a man who knew how to enjoy life and make the most of the time he had with those around him. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and darts. He was always up for a little adventure and never needed much convincing when it came to taking a road trip. Whether enjoying his favorite activities or simply spending time with others, Bob had a way of making ordinary moments memorable.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Kerr, two brothers, Phil Lee Williams and Mike Williams, and a sister Amy Williams.

Bob is survived by his wife of almost 24 years, Lisa Williamson Williams, whom he married September 17, 2002; three children, Rob Williams (Angie), Ryan Pyle (Candace), and Erica Williamson; eight grandchildren, TJ, Kylei, Madison, Ashlyn, Kaylynn, Landri, and Johnkeith; two great-grandsons, Jr., and Mavrick; two brothers, James Williams (Tina), and Robby Williams. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Bob will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
