Carol Johnson Bostwick

Mrs. Carol Johnson Bostwick, age 61, of Cedartown passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at her residence.

Carol was born in Cedartown, GA on February 24, 1959, a daughter of the late William Johnson and the late Opal Waites Johnson. Carol was an amazing woman of strength and convictions. She spent her time over the years assisting her husband Peyton, as they pastored and ministered together. She found great joy in witnessing to people and helping them find strength in God. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was most recently a member of New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Aragon, Ga. Some of her other interests included shopping, collecting magazines/newspapers and talking on the phone for hours to her family and friends. She will best be remembered for her continuously positive outlook on life, and for always being able to put a smile on anyone’s face.

Survivors include her husband, Peyton Bostwick of Cedartown, to whom she was married on October 27, 1984; daughter, Rhonda Leathers; two grandchildren: Kayden Leathers and Caleb Leathers; sister, Cynthia Baldwin and her husband Freddy; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Private family interment services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Georgia National Cemetery.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM in New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Aragon.
