Cathy Lynn Carswell

Mrs. Cathy Lynn Carswell, age 64, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022.

Mrs. Carswell was born on June 18, 1957 in Tampa, FL. to her parents: Russell Benton Feather and Ina Mae Christine Hoover Feather. Cathy had previously lived in Milton, FL. before moving to Rockmart 3 years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed going camping, traveling to the beach and collecting driftwood. She was a loving and caring homemaker and her family will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Carswell is survived by her daughter; Amber McVey (Michael) of Temple, GA; son, Matthew McMillan (Adriana) of Hartselle, AL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Connie Brown and Joyce Feather and 1 brother, Clayton Feather.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mrs. Carswell will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
