Cheryl "Debbie" Mosby

Mrs. Cheryl “Debbie” Mosby, age 75, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday morning, September 22, 2025.

Mrs. Mosby was born on September 29, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, where she spent her childhood years. In the late 1980s, she relocated to Georgia, where she found joy in attending church services and becoming part of her community. She was employed with Hallmark for many years, a role she took great pride in. In her leisure time, Mrs. Mosby enjoyed working on puzzles, shopping, and watching her favorite courtroom television shows. She was also an avid fan of Columbo and the classic works of Alfred Hitchcock.

Mrs. Mosby was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mosby Quinney, and step-father, Elijah Williams.

Mrs. Mosby is survived by three children, Roosevelt “Bernard” Johnson, Carla Mosby, and Hope Mosby; granddaughter, Ellie Seimer. Several cousins also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Mosby will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time
