Christopher Chad Overstreet

Christopher Chad Overstreet, age 37, of Rockmart passed away Monday, May 12, 2014.

Chad was born in Rockmart, GA on October 7, 1976 a son of Christopher Allen Overstreet and Linda Jacobs Overstreet. He had lived in the Rockmart area most of his life and attended Rockmart High School. He was a carpenter by trade and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to play the guittar, draw and build watches.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Overstreet, Buchanan; father, Chris Overstreet, Villa Rica; companion, Stephannie Dozier, Rockmart; children: Kirsten Nicole Overstreet. Cedartown, Kalem Wade Overstreet, Cedartown, Ethan Chad Overstreet, Dallas and Wesson Ray Dozier, Rockmart; sister, Amanda Gay Overstreet, Felton and nephews: Dylan Blake Overstreet and Devon Allen Overstreet.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial hour.
