Claudiett Carter Harding

Claudiett Carter Harding, age 83, of Aragon, GA, passed away Friday morning, December 1, 2023.

Mrs. Harding was born in Rockmart, GA, on July 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Cars P. Carter and Mary Ellen Carter. She had lived all her life in Rockmart and Aragon and was a member of Hills Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Harding was a housewife and homemaker and in her younger years enjoyed playing horseshoes and badminton.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harding was preceded in death by her husband, Arey Lonnie Harding; sons, Jack Harding and Frankie Harding; thirteen brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Harding is survived by a son, Johnny (Audrey Pierce) Harding of Aragon. Three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harding will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Harding’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Monday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
