Mr. Clifford Wayne Bowman, age 64, of Aragon, GA passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Wayne was born on August 14, 1961, in Atlanta, GA, a son of Aurthur Bowman and the late Bonita Blackmon Bowman. Wayne spent his childhood years in Cobb County and had made his home in Polk County for the past 20 years.

He was a self-employed welder by trade, known for his strong work ethic and skill. Wayne loved fishing and found joy in the simple things in life. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and love for his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Maryann Tatum; three children, Anthony Williams, Nathan Williams, and Travis Bowman; several grandchildren, father, Aurthur Bowman; brother, John Boy Bowman; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Bowman will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
