Connie Hardin

Ms. Connie Faye Hardin, age 47, of Aragon, GA passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 in a Rome medical center following a two year illness.

Connie was born in Rome, GA on October 28, 1965 a daughter of Jimmy and Dorothy Hardin. She had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a 1982 graduate of Rockmart High School. Prior to ill health Connie was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Rite At Home Health Care. She loved her family, enjoyed hunting arrowheads and had a great love for horses. Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Marie Hardin in 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Smith and her husband Matthew of Cedartown; daughter, Raven Graham, Aragon; daughter, Amber Bryant and husband Cody, Cedartown; grandchild, Rylen Bryant, Cedartown; Parents, Jimmy and Dorothy Hardin, Aragon; sister, Haley Harris and husband Thad, Taylorsville; niece Molly Harris and nephew Jake Harris of Taylorsville; numerous friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, step children and step grandchildren.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Rockmart Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ed Pasley officiating.

Pallbearers will include: Lee Williams, Billy Wheeler, Ashley Haney, Mark Deems, Geoffrey Hardin and Jimmy Harrell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
