Mrs. Connie Hughes Hardy, age 78, of Thomson, GA, passed away Saturday, June 6,2026.

Connie was born on February 15, 1948, daughter of the late Fred L. Hughes and Wilma Wix Hughes.  She graduated from Rockmart Hish School in 1966 followed by North Georgia Technical College (Cosmetology) in Clarksville, GA.  Connie worked for Merle Norman Studios in Cartersville and Thomson.  Later she was employed by Small World Daycare in Thomson.  Connie was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her son, Ben Hardy.

Connie is survived by her husband, Mr. Gene Hardy of Thomson, daughter, Mrs. Heather (T.J.) Jackson of Dearing, GA, four grandchildren, Cassie Hardy, Jackson Hardy, Caroline Jackson, and Levi Jackson, sisters, Jan Hughes, Kay Hughes and brother, Lee Hughes.

A private Memorial Service will be held on the family farm on Friday, June 12, 2026.
