Darrell Dewayne Collum

Mr. Darrell Dewayne Collum, age 63, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 in a Rome medical center.

Darrell was born in Rome, GA on November 10, 1960 a son of James Henry Collum and Wilma Eugenia Moore Collum. He had lived the greater part of his life in Bartow County and was a graduate of Rockmart High School. Darrell retired from the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation as an inspector with 36 years of service. He was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, golf and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild, Brianna Collum.

Survivors include his children: Chasity Collum Deal, Brett Dewayne Collum and Shannon Collum Stafford and her husband Joel; brother, Steve Collum and his wife Sue; four grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chambers officiating and a eulogy by Lee Neel. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Al Deems, Lee Devore, Joe Harris, Richard Harris, Robert Harris and Keith Sorrells.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 1st. from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
