Debbie Lynn Martin

Ms. Debbie Lynn Martin, age 55, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 in a Rome medical center.

Debbie was born in Rockmart on August 19, 1960 a daughter of Wilson Artis Martin and JoAnn Graham Martin. She had lived all of her life in Rockmart and was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Joey Martin, Sr. and Steve Leatherwood.

Survivors include a sister, Janice Owens and her husband Kenneth, Adairsville; two sisters in law: Tammy Martin, Cave Spring and Kathy Leatherwood, Bremen; three nieces: Chasity McClure, Adairsville, Kami Seagle, Bremen, Dawn Owens, Adairsville and Rebecca Martin, Cave Spring; two nephews: Bubba Owens, Rome and Joey Martin, Jr., Calhoun; a number of great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Head officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: Bubba Owens, Joey Martin, Jr., Steve McClure and Rev. Michael Head.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
