Debra Lynn Goddard, age 71, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday morning, July 12, 2026.

Debra was born in Rockmart on May 27, 1955, a daughter of the late James Goddard and Leona Cook Goddard. A 1973 graduate of Rockmart High School, she later earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from West Georgia College. Debra devoted more than 20 years of her career to the Budweiser Plant before her retirement.

She embraced every opportunity to travel and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach, visiting the beautiful islands of Hawaii, and snow skiing in the mountains of Colorado. Above all, Debra treasured the time she shared with her family and friends. 

Debra is survived by a sister, B.G. Walsh; nephew, Josh Johnson (Emily); great-niece, Eliza Johnson.

In keeping with her wishes, Debra will be cremated and a private family service for her will be held.
