Don Greer Wise

Mr. Don Greer Wise, age 73,of Rockmart passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Bledsoe, TN on July 14, 1938 a son of the late Floyd Wise and Ela Lee Scott Wise. Mr. Wise had lived the greater part of his life in Polk County. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Wise was preceded in death by a son, William C. McKinley and a brother, Lee Roy Wise.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Wise, Rockmart; three children: Kenneth Roberts, Rockmart, Betty Brown, Rockmart and James Woodrow McKinley, Cartersville; two brothers: Jimmy Wise, Rome and Walter Wise, Cedartown; sister, Virginia Jo Wise, Cedartown; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

There are no memorial services planned at this time.
