Don W. Richardson

Mr. Don W. Richardson, age 67, of Rockmart, GA passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Don was born in Panama City, Florida on September 6, 1946 a son of Harmon W. Richardson and Una Keahey Richardson. He had been a resident of Georgia since 2012 moving here from North Carolina. He enjoyed bowling, reading his Bible and fellowshipping with others. He had worked as a millwright and was presently a self employed painter.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Richardson of Rockmart to whom he was married on January 24, 2012; two daughters: Amanda Richardson, Raliegh, NC and Alicia Hawkins, Newbern, NC; two sisters: Sandra McOmber, Vanceboro, NC and Sharon Vega, Dallas, GA; one brother, Charles Richardson, Savannah, GA.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Petty officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
