Don Wolfe

Mr. Don Wolfe, age 63. of Summerville, GA passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 upon arrival to a Rome medical center.

Don was born in Rockmart, GA on June 24, 1953 a son of Walter Wolfe and Lara Robinson Wolfe. He lived in Rockmart the greater part of his life before moving to Summerville nine years ago. Don was a member of the Liberty View Baptist Church, a graduate of Rockmart High School and was an employee of Mt. Vernon Mills of Trion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Ed, John, David, Bobby, Harold and Paul Wolfe; sisters: Lorene Elrod, Joyce Payne, Linda Knowles and Jean Wolfe.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Sisson Wolfe of Summerville to whom he was married on June 26, 1974; two sons: Scott Wolfe and Chris Wolfe both of Rockmart; brother, Ronald Wolfe, Villa Rica; sister, Shelia Wolfe, Jasper; five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ladell Jacobs and Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Whit Dunn, Donald Sullivan, Carlton Sisson, Rick Sisson, Eddie Elrod and Sam Elrod.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
