Donald Edwards

Mr. Donald Edwards, age 82, passed away Saturday evening, January 17, 2026.

Mr. Edwards was born in Aragon, Georgia, on December 4, 1943, to the late Will Douglas Edward and Lilly Ward Edwards. He spent the greater part of his life in Polk County, where he was well known for his friendly spirit and love of conversation.

Donald enjoyed the outdoors, visiting flea markets, and especially meeting and talking with people. Above all, he dearly loved his family and the Lord, and was a member of The Church of God.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his son, Todd Edwards; and his 3 sisters, Helen Hester, Myra Cole, and Janice Edwards.

He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Morris (Grady); 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his 2 brothers, Douglas Edwards and Houston Edwards (Becky). Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Private interment services will take place in the Aragon Cemetery.
