Donna Adle Carter

Mrs. Donna Adle Carter, age 62, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, July 7, 2025.

Born on June 4, 1963, in Alberta, Canada, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Michael Zimmerman and Deloras Dale Morrison. She made Rockmart her home in 1997.

A devoted housewife and homemaker, Donna was known for her warm heart and creative spirit. She attended Victory Baptist Church and found great joy in her faith. Donna had a deep love for animals and was passionate about horseback riding, traveling, drawing, and baking. Her kindness, artistic talents, and adventurous spirit touched all who knew her.

Above all, Donna will be remembered for the deep and abiding love she had for her husband, which was the cornerstone of her life

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a son, Michael Smith.

Donna is survived by her husband, Gordon Carter, whom she married January 6, 1990; a son, Bruce Smith; sister, Alna Denise Dunagan; brother, Jerrel Dean Martin. Several cousins also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Donna will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
