Mrs. Dorothy Ann “Annie” Goss Gray, age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday morning, May 3, 2026.

Annie was born in Rockmart on May 19, 1958, the daughter of the late Jett Eugene Goss and Mary Frances Roberson Goss. She spent the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was of the Baptist faith. Annie dedicated over 20 years of service to Genuine Parts Company, also worked at Frontier Steak House, and later spent more than 12 years with Morgan Hardware. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was known for her magnetic personality. Annie never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by seven siblings, Mildred Goss Amerson, Howell Eudell Goss, Jeanette Goss Kirk, Geraldine Goss, Donald Eugene Goss, Sara Goss Overdevest, and Linda Goss Singleton.

Annie is survived by three siblings, Fay Goss Tarbush, Ronald Joe Goss (Judy), and Charles Vernon Goss; life partner, Greg Lewis. Several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Annie will be cremated and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
