Dorothy (Dot) Hudgins

Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Hudgins, age 86, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 in a Rome medical center.

A native of Floyd County, GA she was born on May 24, 1935 a daughter of the late V. S. Carr and the late Bessie Dempsey Carr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Hudgins; by a brother, Charles Carr and by two sisters:Sarah Morgan and Louella Carr.

Mrs. Hudgins was of the full gospel faith, was a former employee of the General Electric Company in Anniston, AL and was a homemaker. She loved everyone with God's love.

Survivors include a sister, Rilla Holcombe of Calhoun, GA as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery of Cedartown.

Pallbearers wiill include: Wayne Morgan, Nathan Williams, Dallas Holcombe, Glenn Norman, Jr., Evan Holcombe and Jerry Carr.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to the ministry of your choice in Mrs. Hudgin's memory.
