Edward (Eddie) Dunn

Mr. Edward (Eddie) Dunn, age 72, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Mr. Dunn was born on August 10, 1949 in Rockmart, GA, to his parents: Augustus Eugene (Gene) Dunn and Mary Vinnie Shepard Dunn. Eddie spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart and was of Baptist faith. He was self- employed in construction and was a proud United States Army Veteran where he served in Vietnam. Mr. Dunn enjoyed rebuilding old cars in his free time. Eddie was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Janice Stepheson and Marilyn Edwards.

Mr. Dunn is survived by his loving wife, Annette Dunn of Rockmart, GA; son, Paul Dunn (Theresa) of Aragon, GA; daughter, Angie Dunn of Yorkville; step-daughter, Bessie Hudson (David) of Aragon, GA; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, a special great-niece, Donna Rose; 2 sisters: Joyce Williams and Edna Haney; 3 brothers: Alfred Dunn (Wanda), Larry Dunn (Jane) and Jerry Dune (Judy). A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Mr. Dunn’s wishes, his body will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
