Mrs. Ellen Louise Streetman, age 98, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, January 30, 2026.
Mrs. Streetman was born on September 11, 1927, in Marshall County, Alabama, to the late Cephus L. Cody and Cynthia Elizabeth Snyder Cody. Louise spent most of her life in Aragon and was a devoted member of Euharlee Baptist Church. A loving homemaker, Mrs. Streetman enjoyed cooking and cherished the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Streetman was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Streetman; daughter, Imogene Williams; three brothers, Clifton, Curtis, and Allen Cody; three sisters, Ida Cody Harrell, Dovie Lang, and Hazel Morgan.
Louise is survived by three children, Linda (Gerald) Lanham, Steven (Kay) Streetman, and Sandra (Neil) Posey; brother, Herbert Cody; special family member, Travis Gentry; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Streetman will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Jeff Williams, Michael Williams, Tyler Smith, Rodney Brown, Tommy Robinson, and Matthew Robinson. Jerry Bishop will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
