Mrs. Frankie Darlene Jones, age 60, of Rome, GA, passed away Friday evening, October 2, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Jones was born in Rome on November 28, 1965, daughter of the late Raymond Smith and Lucille Cox Smith. She was a high school graduate and had worked in the housekeeping department at Redmond Hospital.

Mrs. Jones found joy in the simple things in life. She especially enjoyed taking trips to Pigeon Forge, listening to music, and going out to eat, with Chili’s and Bigun’s Barbeque among her favorite places. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought great happiness and love into her life. She will be remembered for the special place she held in the hearts of her family and all those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Lovingood.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of over 32 years, William Jones; daughters, Nicole Lucille Smith, Patricia Jones Rice (Talon), and Nikki Tidewll; grandchildren, T.J. Tidwell, Tallis Tidwell, Marlee Tidwell, Karliene Rinker, Blake Rice, Aiden Rice, and Sophia Rice; sisters, Christy Ely and Alice Turner; brother, Kenny Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Tuesday afternoon, October 6, 2026, 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Rockmart memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Jones’ family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Hom eon Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Talon Rice, Walter Roaderick, Randy Cantrell, Dustin Cantrell, Ian Locklear, and Seth Clement.
