Mrs. Gail Cantrell, age 72, of White, GA passed away Friday, October 23, 2026.

Mrs. Cantrell was born in Thomasville, GA, on August 20, 1954, a daughter of the late Joseph Mitchell Castleberry and Lena Margaret Young Castleberry. Gail spent the greater part of her life in Thomasville and Griffin before making Bartow County her home two years ago. She was a current member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. Gail loved Jesus, enjoyed listening to Christian music, and found comfort and joy in watching Hallmark movies. Above all, she dearly loved her family and cherished the time she spent fellowshipping with others. Her faith, love for others, and warm spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Castleberry.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, James Allen Cantrell, to whom she married on October 7, 1981; 2 children, David Middleton and Jennifer Cantrell; 2 grandchildren, Holly Middleton and Noah Middleton; brother, Kenneth Castleberry; sister, Teresa Medukas (Kenneth); and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Cantrell will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Matt McGukin officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 12:30 pm until the service hour at the church.
