Gary Dan Floyd, Jr.

Mr. Gary Dan Floyd, Jr. age 30, of Rome, GA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Mr. Floyd was born in Richland SC, on February 22, 1992, a son of Gary Dan Floyd, Sr. and Sherri Lynn Hurley Floyd. He had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart and Floyd County. Gary had a love for music and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Dan Floyd, Sr.; and his grandparents: Danny and Doris Floyd and Carolyn Hurley.

Survivors include his mother, Sherri Floyd (James Davis); son, Jacob Ryan Smith; brothers and sisters: Samuel Jasen Bell, Codi Floyd Bell, David Floyd, Jeremy Harmon, Kristy Harmon, Grey Carmona, Kevin Hoover, Ashley Hoover and Derrick Pope; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating.
