Gaye Tinnan

Mrs. Gaye C. Tinnan, age 62, of Rockmart, GA passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 in a Rome medical center.

Gaye was born in Rockmart on March 21, 1962, a daughter of Marylee Roberson Cline and the late William Quincey Cline. She had lived all of her life in Polk County. She was a bargain shopper, loved her animals and never met a stranger. Gaye loved spending time with her great-grandson, Greyson Pettis. She was of the Baptist faith. Gaye was a retired employee of Meggitt with over fifteen years of service.

She was preceded in death by her father; and husband, James Ronald Tinnan on December 8, 2024.

Survivors include her children: Beth Brogdon, Ellie Buchanan, Nina Goss and Holly Woods; mother, Marylee Cline; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Cline, Daryl Cline and Harold Cline; sisters: Cathy Brown and Gail Mulkey; special sister, Teresa Krawick; several nieces and nephews and her dog, Skittles.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Thomason. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
