Harvie Algie "Butch" Holliday, Jr.

Mr. Harvey Algie “Butch” Holliday, Jr., age 73, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, September 12, 2025.

Mr. Holliday was born in Rome, GA on May 22, 1952, a son of the late Harvie Algie Holliday, Sr. and the late Nina Beatty Holliday. Butch had lived the greater part of his life in Cartersville and had been a resident of Rockmart for the past 4 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed his work.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Holliday was preceded in death by his wife Lethia Holliday; and brother, Wayne “Turkey” Holliday.

Butch is survived by his sister, Joy Holliday; brother, Neal Holliday; step-son, Dennis (Lori) Culpepper; step-daughter, Mattie Culpepper; grandchildren; Brenna Culpepper and Trent Culpepper; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; aunts; and cousins also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Holliday will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
