Jackie Eugene Tucker

Mr. Jackie Eugene Tucker, age 71, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at his residence.

Jackie was born in Rockmart on February 16, 1953, son of the late Orbin Tucker and Daisy Chafin Tucker. He had lived all his life in Rockmart and was of the Baptist faith. Jackie was a self-employed lawn maintenance guy who loved cutting grass and helping on the farm. He enjoyed fishing and was a handy-man who was always tinkering with things.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cross Tucker, a sister, Margaret Williams, and two brothers, Pete Tucker and Bill Tucker.

Jackie is survived by two nieces, Janice (Ricky) Presley, and Teresa (Michael) Krawiec; a nephew, Richard (Becky) Williams; and his puppy, Rodeo.

Funeral services for Jackie will be held on Thursday afternoon, January 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jackie’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Brad Loyd, Brandon Loyd, Lee Presley, Edward Akins, Chandler Cooper, and Timothy Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Loyd, Ricky Presley and Michael Krawiec.
