Jackqueline Anette Atkins Cosby

Mrs. Jackqueline Annette Atkins Cosby, age 73, of Rockmart, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 in Valdosta, GA.


She was born in Cedartown a daughter of the late G.V. Atkins and Delia Shaw Atkins. Mrs. Cosby had been a resident of Polk County, GA all of her life where she was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Rockmart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Cosby, Sr. on March 30, 2009.


Survivors include two daughters: Carol Morgan and husband Jeff of Valdosta, GA and Sylvia Floyd and husband Tim of Rockmart, GA; three sons: Thomas Cosby, Jr., Rockmart, GA, Bobby Joe Cosby and wife Nancy, Rockmart, GA and Douglas E. Cosby and wife Linda, Arnoldsville, GA; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Privett officiating.


The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.


The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Jackqueline Annette Atkins Cosby.
