Jacquline Hodges McClure

Mrs. Jacquline Hodges McClure, age 64, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, August 4, 2025.

Mrs. McClure was born on May 6, 1961, in Rockmart, Georgia, to the late Edward Hodges and the late Betty Anderson Hodges. A lifelong resident of Rockmart, Jacquline attended Rockmart High School and was deeply rooted in her community.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love for children, and her joy in simply spending time with family. Jacquline loved walking, meeting new people, and sharing her warmth with everyone she encountered. She truly never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Hodges, and Willie Hodges; sisters, Louise Dorsey and Juanita Harper; nephew, Defarae Hodges; and brother-in-law, Sylvester McClendon.

Jacquline is survived by her husband, Leon McClure; children, Monica McClure, Shoshanna Gibbons, and Martina Poole; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings; Anita Hodges, Barbara McClendon, Mose Hodges, Jeffery (Roshanda) Hodges, Gregory Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. McClure will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
