James Sterling “Jimmy” Crenshaw, age 44, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at his residence.

Jimmy was born on September 8, 1981, in Denver, CO, the beloved son of Dora Davis Crenshaw and the late William Crenshaw. He spent the greater part of his life in Polk County and was of the Christian faith.

Jimmy currently worked for TYM Farm Equipment, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly personality. An avid University of Georgia football fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Bulldogs. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, spending time outdoors, and riding four-wheelers.

Those who knew Jimmy will remember his quick sense of humor, infectious laughter, and ability to make those around him smile. He truly loved life and found his greatest happiness in spending time with his family, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Jimmy is survived by his three children, Colby Crenshaw, Jacob Crenshaw, and Abbie Crenshaw; mother, Dora Crenshaw; brothers, Rye Crenshaw (Jannah), and Nathan Crenshaw; sister, Becky Crenshaw.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Jimmy will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Following the Gathering, in keeping with his wishes, Jimmy will be cremated.
