James "Jimbo" Duke

Mr. James “Jimbo” Duke, age 86, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on October 29, 2021.

Jimbo was born on November 25, 1934 in Rockmart, GA, to his late parents: Alan Duke and Agnes White Duke. He lived all his life in Rockmart. Mr. Duke was a proud veteran of The United States Army, where he served in the Korean War. He was of Baptist faith.

Mr. Duke is survived by his half-brother, Bobby Williams 2 aunts, Louise Robinson and Joyce Martin and a number of cousins.

In keeping with Mr. Duke’s wishes, his body has been cremated and a memorial service for Mr. Duke will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie Shirley officiating in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
