James Robert (Spider) Irwin, Jr.

Mr. James Robert (Spider) Irwin, Jr. age 75, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Bartow County, GA on July 21, 1940 a son of the late James Robert Irwin, Sr. and Doris Vincent Irwin. Mr. Irwin had lived in Rockmart the greater part of his life where he was a graduate of Rockmart High School. He retired with over 40 years of service at Loral/Engineered Fabrics Corporation. Playing golf and fishing were among his hobbies.

Survivors include his two daughters: Dena Irwin Hulsey and Lori Irwin Robinson both of Rockmart; sister, Linda Forsyth, Macon; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville.

Pallbearers will include: Dylan Hulsey, Cole Hulsey, Johnny Chastain , Kenneth Tracy, Daniel Brown and Darrin Hulsey.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
