Janet Ashley Mcchargue

Mrs. Janet Ashley McChargue, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, June 20, 2023.

Janet was born in Rome, GA, on March 27, 1958, daughter of the late Delbert N. Ashley and Ivanette Roberson Ashley. She had lived all her life in the Rockmart and Cedartown area and was of the Baptist faith. Janet was a graduate of Rockmart High School and retired from Engineered Fabrics.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a sister, Dale Wills.

Janet is survived by a son, Mitch McChargue of Rockmart; brother, Danny Ashley of Cedartown, GA; niece, Brandi Bussey of Cedartown.

In keeping with her wishes, Janet will be cremated, and no formal services are planned.
