Jerri Ann Arp

Mrs. Jerri Ann Arp, age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday morning, November 21, 2025, at her residence.

Jerri was born in Rockmart on February 4, 1958 a daughter of  Leamon Williams and Inell Gober Williams, and lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Jerri worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation for more than 34 years before retiring in 2016. She enjoyed trips to the lake and riding motorcycles, and she was always devoted to caring for her family.

In addition to her father Leamon Williams,  Jerri was preceded in death by her step-father, Charley Woods, a brother, Johnny Williams, and a sister, Jackie Williams.  She was also preceded in death by a niece, Cristal Ballew and a nephew, Johnny Williams.

Jerri is survived by her husband, Randy Arp, whom she married on July 19, 1976; daughter, Brandy Arp; son, Shane Arp; mother, Inell Woods; brothers, Jamie Williams, and Joey Williams; niece, Jenny Williams. Several additional nieces and nephews along with a beloved friend, Deborah Moon, also survives.

Funeral services for Jerri will be held on Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Gober officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jerri’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Lamar Abernathy, Trent Deavers, Mark Forsyth, William Smith, Larry Smith, Al Willis, and alternate, Barry Abernathy.
