Joann Siniard

Mrs. JoAnn Siniard, age 65, of Calloway Court, Rockmart passed away Friday, December 3, 2010 at her residence following a lengthy illness.


She was born in Clarkdale, GA on June 24, 1945 a daughter of the late H.C. Swafford and the late Louise Wood Swafford. Mrs. Siniard had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart where she was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Siniard was preceded in death by a son, Derek Siniard on November 8, 2008.


Survivors include two daughters: Shawn Barnette and husband Tony of Aragon and Cyd Graham and husband Brad of Rockmart; six grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Harold Swafford, Cedartown; one sister, Glenda Powell, Dallas and six nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. James Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Brandon Barnette, Greg Swafford, Kevin Swafford, Chad Swafford, Ricky Gentry and Bryan Powell.


The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
