JoAnne S. Hartline

Mrs. JoAnne S. Hartline, age 89, of Lebanon, TN, formerly of Rome, GA, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, in Lebanon.

Mrs. Hartline was born in Trion, GA, on November 19, 1935, a daughter of the late William Owen Stewart, VII, and Mary Lee Jones Stewart. She grew up in the Shannon community of Floyd County and was a graduate of Model High School. Mrs. Hartline was a member of the Green Hill Church of Christ in Mt. Juliet, TN. She was a self-employed medical transcriptionist.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hartline was preceded in death by her husband, John William “Bill” Hartline on October 27, 2011, whom she married on December 28, 1954, brothers, Bill Stewart and Bob Stewart, and sisters, Bettye Evans and Deborah Wycoff.

Mrs. Hartline is survived by her children, Jeff (Melodie) Hartline, Craig (Mara) Hartline, and Rachel (Keith) LeSuer; sisters, Yvonne Hitch and Rena Vines. Four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Hartline will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens of Rome with her son, Jeff Hartline, officiating.
