Joel Glenn Brown, Sr.

Mr. Joel Glenn Brown, Sr., age 58, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Atlanta, GA on February 23, 1959 a son of Charles Robert Brown and Patricia Ann Hollowitch Brown. Mr. Brown had been a resident of Polk County for the past 20 years moving here from Atlanta. He enjoyed coin collecting, reading, gun collecting and chopping wood. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1979 to 1981. He was a former employee of Orr Built Compressors of Atlanta.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles, Scott and Wally Brown.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years Lisa Brown, Rockmart; son, Joel Brown, Jr., Rockmart; three daughters: Holly & Misty Langley, Aragon, Joanna Allbritten, Rockmart and Patricia Brown, Aragon and two grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes' Mr. Brown was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
