John David (Johnny) Cook

Mr. John David (Johnny) Cook, age 70, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

He was born in Polk County, GA on April 23, 1949, a son of the late Charlie Jackson Cook and the late Grace Chandler Cook. Mr. Cook had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart. He had attended the Baptist Church most of his life but had most recently been attending the Church of God of The Union Assembly. Over the years he enjoyed riding horses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chan Cook.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Cook, Calhoun; two grandchildren: Alexis and Bryson Casey; and his sister, Kathy Flanagan and her husband, Mike, Rockmart.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jesse Starnes officiating.
