John Daniel Tompkins

John Daniel Tompkins, age 63, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence.
John was born in Paterson, NJ, on December 31, 1961, son of the late John Daniel Tompkins and Lillian Louella Wilkes Tompkins. He had been a resident of Rockmart for the past 10 pluss. John was a self-employed home improvement contractor. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and exploring nature.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Jill Diane Dunkerley.
John is survived by three sisters, Bonnie (Tim) Ferguson, JoEllen McBride, and Susan (William) Traurig.
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, John will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
