Mrs. Joyce Bryant Godfrey, age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 22, 2026.

Joyce was born on January 9, 1959, to the late Aubrey Bryant and Fannie Henderson. She spent the greater part of her life in Rockmart, where she devoted herself to being a homemaker. Joyce had a deep love for animals and was of the Baptist faith. She most cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughters, Sarah Ann Anderson and Mickey Bristow; her sister, Janice; and her brother, Bear.

She is survived by her son, Tommy McAlister (Tami); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brother, Charlie; and her sisters, Elizabeth and Rebecca. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Joyce will be cremated. No formal services will be held at this time.
