Karen Ann Hughes Anderson

Mrs. Karen Ann Hughes Anderson, age 66, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Karen was born in Rome, GA, on October 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Ray Hughes and Agnes Deems Hughes Bowers. She was a longtime employee of Goodyear Mill and was of the Methodist faith. She had a great love for her family and friends. In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her step-father, Joel Bowers.

Survivors include her son, Josh Anderson and his wife Audrey, Rockmart; daughter, Melissa Anderson, Cedartown; three grandchildren, Victoria Anderson, Riley Anderson, and Madden Lucas Anderson Barnette; two sisters, Donna Hughes Gambel, and Deonda Hughes Brown; brother, Ricky Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Anderson will be cremated, and the family will have a private gathering at a later date.
