Kristina Marie Short

Mrs. Kristina Marie Short, age 31, of Cedartown, GA passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 following a lengthy illness.

She was born on September 20, 1988 in Gainesville, GA a daughter of Larry Sams and Rita Bevel Sams. Kristina had lived most of her life in Cedartown and attended Cedartown High School.

Survivors include her husband, Brandon Short; three sons: Will, Hayden and Jacob Short all of Cedartown; mother, Rita Sams (Ricky), Cedartown; father, Larry Sams, Dawsonville; sister, Amanda Crump (Larry), Cumming; grandparents: Carolyn and Stanley Wallace, Cedartown; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
