Kristy Charlene Ferguson

Kristy Charlene Ferguson, age 53, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday morning, April 13, 2025.

Kristy was born in Rockmart on August 4, 1971, daughter of Linda Anderson White and the late Ernest White. She had lived all her life in Polk County and had worked with the Polk County Jail in food service. Kristy was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church where she enjoyed worshiping and singing for the Lord. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who loved her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Ernie White, Kristy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dennis Moncrief.

Kristy is survived by two sons, Joshua (Mandy) Stroup, and Kevin (Amanda) Stroup; seven grandchildren, Dakota Bramlett, Kaiden Bramlett, Colton Stroup, Rylee Stroup, Adam Stroup, Bryson Stroup, Charlene “Charley” Stroup; mother, Linda White; brother, Todd (Colleen) White; sister, Tina Moncrief. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Kristy will be held on Wednesday evening, April 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Carroll and Rev. Corey Smith officiating.

Kristy’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
