Larry Edward Childers

Mr. Larry Edward Childers, age 65, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015.
He was born in Rockmart, GA on December 31, 1949, a son of the late Clifton O. (Dick) Childers and Nora Purser Childers. He had lived all of his life in the Rockmart-Aragon area. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Ann Childers.
Survivors include his son, Jason Larry Childers, Rockmart; and his daughter, Dana Michelle Childers Highfield, Perry, GA; two grandchildren; two brothers: Jimmy Childers and his wife Diane, Rockmart and Gary Childers and his wife Loumella, Marietta; two nieces and two nephews also survive.
In keeping with Mr. Childers wishes he was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Larry Edward Childers.
