Larry Herbert Coalson

Mr. Larry Herbert Coalson, age 63, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013.

He was born in Atlanta, GA on December 30, 1949, a son of the late Byron Coalson and Geraldine Swann Coalson. Mr. Coalson had lived all of his life in Polk and Haralson County. He was preceded in death by a son Larry Shane Coalson; a daughter, Janie Loretta Coalson; brother, William Chester Coalson and two sisters, Patricia Williams and Rhonda Craft.

Survivors include three daughters: Delora Giles, Rockmart, Sherry Hardin, Temple and Jennifer Coalson; step mother, Faye Coalson, Rockmart; four half sisters: Elaine Emerson, Rockmart, Myril Hammond, Rockmart, Trena Jackson, Villa Rica and Pamela Coalson, Canton; a half brother, Byron Coalson, Jr., Rockmart; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Coalson was cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the County Line Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion East Baptist Church Cemetery.
