Levitta Jane Barber, age 60, of Aragon, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, July 29, 2026.

Levitta was born in Rockmart, GA, on April 1, 1966, the daughter of the late Jerry H. Baker and Frances Ellen Freeman Baker. Although she spent a few years living in Florida, she made her home in Polk County for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith.

Levitta found joy in life's simple beauties. She had a special talent for creating floral arrangements and loved expressing her creativity through crafts. Flowers and butterflies were among her favorite things, reflecting her appreciation for the beauty of nature. Above all, the greatest happiness in her life came from the time she spent with her beloved grandson, whom she cherished with all her heart.

In addition to her parents, Levitta was preceded in death by a son Cody Andrew Stephenson.

Levitta is survived by a daughter, Kayla McArthur (Tyler); grandson, T.J. McArthur; sister, Brenda Presley (Tony); brothers, Lamar Baker (Kelly), and Terry Baker (Kristy). Several nieces, nieces and cousins also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Levitta will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
